Rangers Boss Ekeh Ekenedilichukwu Pleased with Hard-Fought Draw Against Bayelsa United

Rangers head coach, Ekeh Ekenedilichukwu, has expressed his satisfaction following his team’s goalless draw against Bayelsa United in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Sunday.

Despite missing clear-cut chances to take all three points, the Flying Antelopes put up a solid performance to secure a valuable away result.

“It was a great game from both sides, but we had more glaring chances that could have handed us all three points,” Ekenedilichukwu said in his post-match interview.

“We are going back happy, as the point we got here is a valuable one. We will keep pushing for better results to ensure we end the season on a very positive note.”

A Valuable Point or a Missed Opportunity?

While a draw away from home is often seen as a good result in the NPFL, Rangers’ inability to convert their chances could be a concern going forward. Bayelsa United, on the other hand, will take confidence from their defensive resilience in front of their home fans.

With the league entering a crucial phase, every point counts, and Rangers will now shift their focus to their next game against Remo Stars on Sunday. A win in that fixture could further boost their ambitions for a strong finish to the season.

Can Rangers build on this result and push for a top finish? Or will their missed chances come back to haunt them later in the season? Let us know your thoughts!
