Finidi George Confident as Rivers United Face Akwa United

Rivers United head coach, Finidi George, has expressed confidence that his team will secure a positive result in their upcoming Matchday 25 clash against Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Wednesday.

The Port Harcourt-based club suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Enyimba last weekend in Aba but delivered an impressive performance. Finidi believes a repeat of that display will yield a much better outcome this time.

"I think that if we play this way, we are going to win. So, I am quite optimistic," he said.

"If we can replicate this same performance in Uyo, I think we will win or at least come back with something. I’m quite positive."
