Wilfred Ndidi Thrilled to Return from Injury Layoff
Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has expressed his excitement after making a full return to action following a two-month injury layoff.
The Nigeria international suffered a hamstring injury during the Foxes’ Premier League clash against Brighton last December, sidelining him for several weeks.
Ndidi marked his comeback in Leicester’s 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Manchester United two weeks ago and played 85 minutes in the team’s recent 2-0 loss to Arsenal.
Ndidi: “I Feel Great and Amazing”
Speaking to the club’s official website, the 28-year-old shared his joy about being back on the pitch.
"I feel great and amazing," Ndidi said.
"There are a lot of games coming up, so I need to look after myself and keep going."
Boost for Leicester’s Midfield
Ndidi’s return is a massive boost for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s squad as they push to maintain their strong position in the league. Known for his defensive solidity and work rate, the Nigerian’s presence in midfield will be crucial in the coming fixtures.
With a packed schedule ahead, Leicester fans will be hoping he stays fit and helps drive the team toward their season goals.
