Ruben Amorim: Manchester United Must Address All Problems Within the Club

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has emphasized the need for a full-scale overhaul at the club following their latest announcement regarding job cuts and ongoing structural challenges.

The Premier League club confirmed on Monday that they are set to cut approximately 150–200 jobs, citing a corporate restructuring effort aimed at improving financial sustainability.

Amorim’s Take on United’s Struggles

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of United’s clash with Ipswich Town, Amorim admitted that the club’s current predicament is a reflection of deeper issues.

“We have to address all the problems in the club. One important aspect is understanding how we got into this situation.”

He further pointed out that the team’s lack of success has played a key role in the club’s struggles.

“It has a lot to do with the lack of success of the team. We are the engine of the club. I want to improve the team and achieve success.”

A Club in Crisis?

Manchester United’s last Premier League title came in 2012 under Sir Alex Ferguson, and since then, they have struggled for consistency both domestically and in Europe.

This season, the Red Devils sit in 15th place in the Premier League table—a shocking position for a club of their stature. Fans have been growing increasingly frustrated with board decisions, recruitment policies, and performances on the pitch.

The question now is: Can Amorim turn things around, or is United heading toward another period of uncertainty? Let us know your thoughts in the comments! 👇
