Akwa United forward, Chijioke Alaekwe, has declared that their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 23 fixture against Enyimba is a must-win as they battle to escape relegation.

The Promise Keepers will host Enyimba at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo today, and Alaekwe insists that securing all three points is non-negotiable.

“We’re looking at nothing but a win against Enyimba on Sunday,” he told Complete Sports.
“It’s a must-win match for us because our position on the table is not good at all, and we must fight to ensure that we move up the ladder.”
