El-Kanemi Warriors technical adviser, Aliyu Zubairu, has hailed his team’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nasarawa United as a collective effort, while admitting that there is still room for improvement.

A lone strike from Al-Amin Umar secured all three points for the Borno-based club, lifting them to fourth place on the league table with 35 points.

Zubairu Calls for More Tactical Adjustments

Despite the victory, Zubairu emphasized the need for tactical and technical improvements in the squad.

“It was a must-win match, but we still have work to do despite the victory. We will make some tactical and technical adjustments to strengthen our game as we move forward,” he said.
