His elder sister, Gbemisola, has claimed that a family member named Akeem is behind the singer’s ongoing troubles, suggesting he has been placed under a spiritual spell.

The singer was recently arraigned alongside nine of his associates before the Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court after being accused of assaulting government officials from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development in Ogun State.

However, Portable remains at large, speaking from an undisclosed location and insisting that he is being set up by unnamed individuals.

In a video statement, he pleaded for the release of his detained associates and challenged authorities to provide video evidence of the alleged assault. The singer also revealed that he is mentally exhausted, even suggesting that he might consider taking his own life due to the overwhelming pressure.

Reacting to the situation in a viral video, Portable’s elder sister, Gbemisola, apologized for her brother’s behavior but insisted that his troubles were spiritually induced.

She claimed:

“Portable has never stolen before. He is the only one taking care of the family. If not for him, I would have died during my sickness.”

She further alleged that a family member named Akeem is the one responsible for Portable’s reckless actions and outbursts, saying:

“One of our family members, Akeem, is the one casting a spell on Portable. He is the one spiritually influencing Portable to misbehave and offend Nigerians.”
