Blessing CEO, known for her bold and often divisive opinions, claimed that Annie has failed to build her own identity outside of being 2Face’s wife, arguing that the actress has spent years living under the shadow of her husband’s fame.

"I don’t think anyone put Annie in this situation. Annie is a strong person. But let’s be honest, 2Face is the trophy. If he divorces Annie today, another woman will pick him up immediately. He is 2Face Idibia."

According to Blessing, Annie’s career in Nollywood never truly flourished, and her most significant recognition still comes from 2Face’s hit song “African Queen”, which was inspired by her.

"Annie actually picked up a career in acting, but it flopped. It is still ‘African Queen’ that drives her fame. Without 2Face, Annie has flopped."

This statement has sparked mixed reactions online. While some agree that Annie may not have established a strong independent career, others argue that she has played a major role in supporting 2Face through his numerous controversies and personal struggles.

Blessing went further to use Annie’s alleged struggles as a lesson for women, urging them to build their own careers and identities rather than depending on their partners' success.

"I have always told women: Build a career, like me. I have built a name for myself as Blessing CEO. Even if I marry Dangote or Otedola, there will still be Blessing CEO. But a lot of women hold on to these men who are trophies."

While Blessing CEO’s argument about women having financial and personal independence is valid, her comments about Annie’s career "flopping" seem harsh and dismissive.
