Former Big Brother Naija housemate Antoinette Lecky, popularly known as Anto Lecky, has taken a significant step into the political arena as she has been appointed Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Tourism and Creative Economy by the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo.
Announcing the news via her official social media page, Anto expressed deep appreciation to the governor for the opportunity to serve her state and nation again in a fresh capacity.
“As the Senior Special Assistant to the Edo State Governor on Tourism and Creative Economy, I have a great responsibility of contributing to the promotion of the rich culture of our great state,” she wrote.
“With the return of many stolen Benin Bronzes, soon-to-be-opened museums, and an ever-growing entertainment industry, there is no better time for Edo State to be on the forefront of tourism and the creative economy in Nigeria and the world.”
