Veteran Nigerian actor, Jude Chukwuka, has shared a shocking experience of being attacked by unknown men in Lagos State following the death of singer Mohbad.

Mistaken Identity: "They Thought I Was Naira Marley's Father"

Speaking in a recent interview with Seun Oloketuyi on YouTube, Chukwuka revealed that he was confronted while on a movie set in Ikorodu by individuals who mistakenly believed he was Naira Marley's father.

“A group of men attacked me on a film set in Ikorodu, claiming that my son was responsible for Mohbad’s death.”

Despite explaining that he had no relation to the embattled artist, the men initially refused to listen.

“I informed them that I’m not Naira Marley’s father. My home is in Delta State, and he is from Abeokuta in Ogun State.”

The Fallout of Mohbad’s Death

Mohbad’s passing in September 2023 led to widespread outrage and accusations, with many pointing fingers at Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry. Even months later, tensions remain high, as seen in the attack on Chukwuka.
